The fashion mall AFI  Ploiesti, the first and only modern shopping mall developed in the City centre of Ploiesti, Romania, was opened on October 3rd, 2013 following an investment of over EUR 50 million. The shopping mall offers over 100 national and international leading fashion brands spread over two floors, along with more than 7,000 sqm of entertainment.

The project, developed by AFI Europe, offers a total gross leasable area (GLA) of 34,000 square meters spreading over two retail floors. The ground floor is dedicated to services and day to day errands, while the first floor is dedicated to fashion. A strong entertainment offering, as expected from an AFI mall, are spread over the two floors of the mall creating the perfect Mix of Tenants for a most enjoyable shopping experience.

 Ploiesti is ranked as the second best city in Southern Romania, following Bucharest, being a major administrative, commercial, trading and cultural centre.



The shopping mall is located 850 meters from the City Centre, on Strada Gheorghe Doja, along the main access road from the North-East, a position that transforms the shopping mall into the main commercial destination within the City Centre.

The mall is located opposite the existing Dedeman and Artesani DIY stores, with excellent transportation links from the City Centre.

The total catchment area of the project includes 360,000 inhabitants, comprises all inhabitants located within 30 minutes driving distance from the project.

In 2013 the project was awarded "Retail Development of the year" by SEE REAL ESTATE AWARDS.
